You’ll Never Guess Who We Get to Call Tomorrow

Did you hear it? The distant sounds of chains breaking and falling, rusted and beaten, to the ground at the feet of a family of four who got sick of their weight 25 months ago?

With four index fingers hovering over a mouse button tonight we all clicked it and sent off our last payment.

We’re debt free.

Wow, that feels good.

I’ve been following your posts and am SO HAPPY for you and your family!!! I originally found your site when searching for an Excel budget sheet – found the one created by Dustin. I am forever grateful for finding the budget sheet because, at 45, I had never budgeted before!

I know your trail to debt freedom took a lot of discipline and going without things, but if you are like us, you get used to it and that becomes the norm. We are one year into our three year journey of becoming debt free.

Enjoy your debt freedom and keep following the steps!!! And I can’t wait to hear you on Dave’s show!

    Take care,

There are no words to express how proud I am of your family. You’ve done a remarkable thing in this day and age: Not only by resolving your debt situation, but by having the discipline to stick to a plan.

OK, I’m going to try anyway: I am very, very proud of you! Congratulations! And much love to you all, always,

Yahoo! Way to go! Feels great right? We got out of debt in March and it’s awesome. Next month, around the 23rd or so, you’re going to get a shiver and a little bead of sweat is going to form on your forehead because your gut is going to say “Oh NO! I missed the (insert debt here) payment!” And then you’re going to smile and think…I’m debt free! Now hit BS3 and knock it out!

I just found your blog. My husband and I are 2 months into the long “get out of debt” journey. I hope you will leave this blog up so I can read the posts over and over again to give me strength as I go through many of the same trials and challenges you have now conquered.

Congratulations! I can only imagine how great being debt free must feel:)

I am so sorry I missed this post! Welcome to the Debt Free Club!
We’re a weird bunch, but we’re not stressed out or making stupid decisions.

Maybe you have dropped one of those extra jobs. Getting sleep now?
    You’ve climbed out. Congratulations.

So, when’s the next blog post?
