Likewise never-humble must throw in that we turned off Direct TV months ago and never missed it. Surprisingly neither have the kids. We have more time TOGETHER. You can get everything you want to see on Hulu or Netflix (we reduced to 1 movie at a time instead of 3). Even more shocking is that when you have to set it up you watch a lot less. It is YOUR $65. Just like the difference at the post office between first class and priority. Maybe only a nickel, but it is my nickel....

I feel impatient too...I just keep digging out things to sell.

Thank you, Liz! You're right, of course. Never-humble or not! I love that.

The diet comparison is perfect. I do get impatient... I must remember to breathe, work, pay the snowball and have a life. That's what The Wife is there for, eh? She reminds me of those things too.

In my never-humble opinon, the reason most people fail on diets is because they cut back their calories to an unrealistic and unsustainable level. If you cut out the dish (or whatever), saving $65/month, how many months sooner would you be out of debt? One? Two? Just like you need to budget for that ice cream on Tuesday, you have to have a little room to move around inside your skin. You're doing great. Don't let impatience get the better of you.

Ahhhh - the exterminator. S and I got rid of our exterminator when we started Dave as well. I also miss him. In fact, now that we're almost done, I'm thinking about starting him up again. The other day I found THREE spider bites on my right shin. I must have had something tasty for dinner because I sure was a feast for those dang bugs!
